My Platform

As a mother of two, I decided to raise my family here.

It is my honor to make this city an even better place for my children and ALL people who make the decision to call Sunnyvale home.

District 2 needs bold, thoughtful leadership to create a more equitable and just Sunnyvale for all. I have demonstrated that I have the experience, drive, and commitment to represent all District 2 residents as we move forward on issues impacting Sunnyvale and the greater region.

Whether it be housing, improving traffic safety for all residents, or increasing public safety , no issue is too small or too large.

As your representative I have been relentless in achieving my highest goal: to create a stronger, more adaptable, more equitable and more accessible Sunnyvale for ALL those who live and work here. Click on the issues below to learn more about my platform.

I humbly ask for your vote in November to reelect me to the Sunnyvale City Council to continue my work on behalf Sunnyvale, our families, and my hometown.

Building Equity Into Our City

Equity means that everyone, regardless of who they are, has the ability to access shared community prosperity. As one of California’s most diverse cities, our strength lies in creating an environment where we can all thrive. For our City government to adequately represent the multitude of identities and perspectives of its residents, equity must be where all policymaking begins and ends.

Housing for All

Housing affordability is consistently top concern for Sunnyvale residents. All families, whether they work in high tech, offer skilled labor, teach our kids, or wash our dishes, should have the opportunity to make a home in Sunnyvale.

Justice For All

We must act with purpose and humility to be proactive as we confront systemic injustices and improve representation to ensure those who are affected by city policy always have a seat at the table.

Vibrant Communities For All

I will prioritize activating public outdoor spaces where people can enjoy Sunnyvale safely. I do this both as a focus when making improvements to our current city landscape and in our plans for our future.

Moving Forward Toward an Inclusive Future

No issue is too small or too large to be tackled with the professional level rigor I am known for and through equity lens. We can work together to create a stronger, more adaptable, and more accessible Sunnyvale for all those who live and work here. In my second term as District 2’s first directly elected councilmember, I will continue to use my training as a public policy professional to analyze issues and make decisions to ensure that we all benefit from the prosperity in our City.

Safe Streets For All

Ensuring that all residents have access to safe and active transportation options is critical to meeting our climate goals and to building an equitable and safe city.

Prosperity For All

Dignity in accessing services, housing affordability and support for local business are essential to preserving and protecting our communities and what makes Sunnyvale a great place to call home.

Sustainability For All

Addressing the climate crisis is the greatest issue of our time. This crisis continues to disproportionately affect poor communities and communities of color. We must tackle this from every angle using every public policy strategy at our disposal.

Government For All

To keep people engaged and ensure that participation in city government is available to all, we must do more to offer translation services and effective application of technological resources and outreach strategies.

I believe that a better future is possible. I believe that we can build a diverse, inclusive, and prosperous Sunnyvale, a Sunnyvale for All. Let’s build that future—together.
